Pastor Gerald E. Harris, a native of St. Louis accepted the call from God to preach the gospel some years ago. Pastor Harris was called while serving as Director of Men’s ministry in a St. Louis area ministry, in which he served and encouraged men from all walks of life. He has also served as Youth Pastor for a St. Louis area church plant. After praying, fasting and consulting with God, Pastor Harris met with two people with the intention to find a place to worship the Lord and win souls for Christ. God blessed Pastor Harris to found The Kings House, were preaching, teaching and soul wining for Christ are the pillars of the ministry.
Pastor Harris earned an Associates’ Degree in Biblical Studies and a Bachelors of Applied Science Degree in Biblical Studies from Saint Louis Christian College in St. Louis Missouri.
After continuous prayer and the leading of the Lord, Pastor Harris was ordained as a minister of the Eastern Missouri First Jurisdiction Church of God in Christ in May of 2014 under the Jurisdictional Bishop R. J. Ward and Jurisdictional Secretary Elder Kenneth Lawson. Pastor Harris was installed as an official Elder and church that carried the banner of the Church of God in Christ in September of 2014 under the leadership of Bishop C.E. Blake Sr. Presiding Bishop of Church of God in Christ, Inc. The Lord has led Pastor Harris to now carry the banner of a Nondenominational Pastor.
Pastor Harris has worked and served the St. Louis Community through mentoring men and women. He has worked with St. Louis area children to help effectuate change in their lives who have had severe behavioral disorders, mental illnesses and or unfavorable living circumstances.
Pastor Harris is a member of Greater North County Chamber of Commerce, Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) and National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP).
Pastor Harris is married to Sherri Harris and they have a blended family of six children, Nicole, Victoria, Christopher, Blake, Gerald and Taylor.
